Bétera will once again experience a new day of popular athletics this Saturday with the 11th Volta a Peu Torre en Conill , a race that combines sport and solidarity in a 7-kilometer night route.
The race will take place next Saturday, September 12 at 8:30 p.m. , with the Plaça Verdum as the reference point. The schedule will allow participants to run outdoors in an event that, after ten editions, is once again part of the Bétera sports calendar.
In addition to the sporting aspect, the Volta a Peu will maintain its solidarity commitment: one euro from each registration will be allocated to charity. Those people who cannot participate in the race will also have the option of collaborating through the Solidarity Number.
Seven kilometers in a night race through Torre en Conill
One of the particularities of the Volta a Peu Torre en Conill is its nocturnal nature. The start is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. , when temperatures begin to drop after the day and runners can tackle the seven kilometers in a different atmosphere than the morning races.
The race reaches its eleventh edition this year, consolidating itself as a sporting event that combines the practice of athletics with a popular atmosphere.
The 7-kilometer distance also allows runners with different profiles to come together, from regular athletes to fans looking to enjoy the experience and complete the route.
A Walk in Solidarity
Sport will share prominence with solidarity throughout the day. For each registration made, one euro will be allocated to solidarity purposes , thus incorporating a charitable dimension to participation in the event.
The initiative goes beyond the runners who will put on their running shoes on Saturday. The organization also offers a Solidarity Bib, designed so that people who cannot or do not want to run also have the opportunity to contribute to the cause.
In this way, participating in the Volta a Peu Torre en Conill means not only joining a day of physical activity, but also contributing to an initiative with a social purpose.
Bétera continues with a September full of sports
The race comes after the celebration of the 9th Volta a Peu Caixa Popular Mas Camarena, which recently brought together more than 250 athletes on a 6.2-kilometer route. Bétera thus chains together different popular events during the month of September.
The Volta a Peu Torre en Conill will be the next event: Saturday, September 12, at 8:30 p.m., from Plaça Verdum.
Seven kilometers, outdoor sports and a charitable cause will join hands in a race that is now in its eleventh edition and that invites runners and residents to enjoy a new sports night in Bétera .
