Temperatures drop this Friday in the Valencian Community after a day with highs of more than 36 degrees

The Valencian Community faces a day this Friday with more moderate temperatures after the heat recorded during the last few hours, with values that have exceeded 36 degrees in some points. The sky will be partly cloudy, although intervals of high clouds will appear and some light precipitation is not ruled out in the southern half of the territory.

The most notable change of the day will be in the thermometers. Maximum temperatures will experience a decrease , while minimums will drop slightly or remain unchanged.

As for the wind, it will blow from the west for much of Friday. As the day progresses, it will lose intensity until, by the end of the day, it will be in a light wind regime of variable direction.

Friday with a chance of light rain in the south

Although the sun will continue to be the protagonist in much of the Valencian Community, the weather situation could leave some light precipitation in the regions of the southern half.

In general, however, a stable environment is expected, with partly cloudy skies and intervals of high clouds. The drop in maximum temperatures will also allow us to temporarily leave behind some of the particularly high records reached during the last few hours.

The heat has been considerable in the three Valencian capitals. In Valencia, a maximum of 36.3 degrees and a minimum of 24.7 were recorded, while Castellón reached 35.9 degrees, with a minimum of 25.1.

In Alicante, thermometers have recorded a maximum of 32.1 degrees and a minimum of 24.1. The data also shows the persistence of particularly warm nights, with minimums that have remained above 24 degrees in the three capitals.

What weather forecast is expected for Saturday?

Looking ahead to Saturday , the situation will be even more stable. The forecast points to partly cloudy or completely clear skies in much of the Valencian territory.

Minimum temperatures will drop, while maximums will vary depending on the area. A slight drop is expected on the central coast, while inland temperatures in Valencia and Alicante will rise again. No significant changes are expected in the rest of the Valencian Community.

The wind will continue to be generally light, although it may occasionally register moderate intervals. During the first hours the westerly component will predominate, while in the central hours of Saturday the easterly component will prevail.

An end of August still marked by heat

The Valencian Community is still experiencing the last days of August with fully summer temperatures, although the drop expected for this Friday will provide a certain respite after the values of the last few hours.

The forecast for Saturday maintains stability as the protagonist, with abundant sunshine and moderate variations in temperatures depending on each area.
