Bétera is already in Festes. Last night, Wednesday 12 August, the municipality officially kicked off the long-awaited Festes d'Agost 2026 , with a day marked by tradition, music and emotion. After months of preparations, the Workers and Mayors 2026 took on the spotlight in a day that began with the traditional Wine of Honor at Casa Nebot and culminated with their long-awaited Presentation in front of an avenue full of people.
The Wine of Honor and Pont-Saint-Martin open a special day
One of the first highlights came with the traditional Wine of Honor at Casa Nebot , the starting point of an afternoon and night that already breathed a festive atmosphere through the streets of Bétera .
Afterwards, a very special parade took place with the participation of the band from Pont-Saint-Martin, an Italian town twinned with Bétera . Their presence takes on a special meaning this year, coinciding with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the twinning between the two municipalities.
Music thus served to reunite two peoples that for a quarter of a century have maintained a close cultural and friendly relationship.

The host of the Presentation was Toni Grande, president of Vol Lliure, who gave a speech full of emotion and references to the deepest traditions of the municipality.
Grande took a tour, in the purest cinematic style, of Bétera 's centuries-old devotion to the Alfabega and the rocket. During his speech, he especially highlighted all the people who, generation after generation, have worked to keep the Bétera traditions alive.
The maintainer also recalled the meaning of the offerings of August 15, which he defined as expressions of love, respect and sentiment transmitted between generations.
