The Retirement Home in Bétera will be temporarily closed from August 24 to 31 due to the relocation of its services. The activity will resume from September 1 in the building of the old Escoletes de Josefa Guardiola , which will temporarily function as the Retirement Home.
The change of location is due to the renovation and improvement works of the House of Culture and Senior Citizens, which require the services to be temporarily relocated in order to carry out the planned work.
Temporary closure from August 24 to 31
During this last week of August, the Retirement Home will not provide its usual service . The closure period will allow the move to be made and the new facilities to be prepared so that they are available to users from September.
Thus, between August 24 and 31, both days included, the Retirement Home will remain closed. The Bétera City Council has informed of this change so that users can take the temporary interruption into account when planning their activities.

New location starting September 1st
From Tuesday, September 1, the services will move to the building of the old Escoletes de Josefa Guardiola , a space that the Bétera City Council has enabled to function as a Retirement Home during the period of the works.
The objective is to ensure that the elderly in the municipality can continue to have a meeting space and maintain their usual activity despite the intervention in the original building.
This location will therefore be temporary. Once the renovation and improvement works of the Casa de la Cultura i dels Mayors are completed, it is planned that the services will be able to leave the provisional facilities.
Reforms at the House of Culture and Senior Citizens
The transfer will make it possible to make the continuity of the service compatible with the renovation and improvement works of the Casa de la Cultura and the Casa de los Mayors de Bétera .
