'Handa's Surprise' arrives today at the Bétera Central Library with storytelling, games and crafts in English

The Central Library of Bétera is preparing to experience an afternoon of stories, games and English today with the arrival of 'Handa's Surprise' . The well-known story will be the protagonist of a new session of the storytelling workshop in English taught by John Cannings, an activity designed for the little ones to approach the language in a playful and participatory way.

The event will take place today, Friday, September 18, at 6:00 p.m., at the Central Library of Bétera , located on Avenida de València. The activity is aimed at children aged 3 and over and will be completely free, with no need for prior registration.

Families will therefore be able to go directly to the library to participate in an afternoon that will combine children's literature, creativity and learning English.

'Handa's Surprise', protagonist of today's storytelling

The reading of 'Handa's Surprise' will be the central theme of the session. Through the narration, children will be able to follow the story in English and become familiar with vocabulary and expressions within a context adapted to a children's audience.

The proposal, however, will go beyond the story itself. During the afternoon, there will also be games and a creative craft, maintaining English as the language of the activity.

In this way, learning is approached from a participation and entertainment perspective, encouraging the youngest to come into contact with the language naturally while they listen, play and create.

Learn English by playing at the Central Library of Bétera

The workshop taught by John Cannings combines reading encouragement with learning English, making the story the starting point for developing different activities.

The initiative also allows you to discover the library from a different perspective. In addition to being a space to search for and read books, it becomes a meeting place for families where children can actively participate in cultural and educational proposals.

With games and crafts after the story, the session seeks to ensure that participants are not just spectators, but interact and experiment with what they have discovered during the story.

Free activity and no prior registration required

One of the highlights of the event is that it will not be necessary to reserve a place or register in advance. The activity is free and open to families with children aged three and over.

The session will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Central Library of Bétera , on Avenida de Valencia.

This afternoon, Bétera will have a new proposal to bring reading and languages closer to children. 'Handa's Surprise' will combine storytelling, English, games and creativity in an activity designed to learn while the little ones enjoy an afternoon with the family.
