'Saturdays in Space' return to Bétera with a digital collage and cyanotype workshop for young people

'Saturdays in Space' return to Bétera with a digital collage and cyanotype workshop for young people

Bétera continues this Saturday, September 19th with the programming of 'Saturdays in the Space' , an initiative aimed at young people that proposes new activities every week in the Youth and Equality Space. On this occasion, the protagonists will be digital collage and cyanotype, with a three-hour workshop dedicated to experimenting with different forms of visual creation.

The activity will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and is aimed at young people between the ages of 13 and 30. Places are limited, so it is necessary to register in advance.

The proposal will combine traditional artistic techniques with digital tools , allowing participants to create their own content from photographs, compositions and different visual resources.

Cyanotype, the protagonist of the new workshop in Bétera

One of the techniques that participants will be able to discover during the afternoon will be cyanotype, a photographic procedure characterized by its recognizable images in blue tones.

The workshop will allow you to approach this form of creation in a practical way and experiment with the possibilities it offers within artistic composition.

This activity will include the creation of collages using the participants' own photographs, converting their own images into materials with which to experiment and build new compositions.

From your own photographs to digital collages

The digital aspect will also play an important role during the day. Young people will learn to use Pinterest as a tool for visual inspiration and will work on creating collages adapted to common formats in the digital environment.

Among the proposals is the design of compositions that can be used as wallpapers or for stories, thus combining artistic creativity with formats present in the daily lives of young people.

The goal is to offer a space where participants can try different techniques , develop their own ideas and experiment with the creation of visual content.

An activity for young people aged 13 to 30

The digital collage and cyanotype workshop will take place this Saturday, September 19, between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., at the Youth and Equality Space of Bétera .

Participation is intended for people between 13 and 30 years old and the places available are limited. Therefore, interested people must secure their place through the registration form enabled by the City Council.
