The August Festivals of Bétera 2026 are now history. After eleven days of tradition, music, gunpowder, popular culture and emotions, the municipality said goodbye to its big festivities with the concert of Demarco Flamenco, responsible for putting the musical final point on the program on Saturday, August 22.
A special night that served to close an intense edition of the festivities and that allowed the public to enjoy the singer's music after a day marked by the farewell of the 2026 Workers and Mayors and the presentation of the 2027 representatives.

Demarco Flamenco puts on music at the end of the August Festivities
The official program had reserved the performance of Demarco Flamenco for midnight on Saturday, August 22, after the presentation of the Colla de Majorals and de les Obreres de 2027. The concert thus became the last great musical event of the August Festivities 2026.
The performance allowed the audience to listen to some of the artist's best-known songs, including "La isla del amor" and "Como te imaginé", on a night in which attendees were able to sing, dance and enjoy until the last moments of the celebrations.
The concert created a great atmosphere among the audience and put the musical finishing touch to a program that, over the previous days, had also included performances by Marlon, King África, Los Inhumanos and Mojinos Escozíos, among other proposals.
A final day full of emotions
The concert came after a particularly emotional August 22 for Bétera . The last day's program had begun with the parade and the collection of the 2026 Workers and had continued with the Eighth Mass and the traditional making of the bolletes.
In the afternoon, the Procession of the Eighth began to mark the farewell of the 2026 Mayorals and Workers. Later, at 11:00 p.m., another of the most anticipated moments arrived: the presentation of the 2027 Mayorals and Workers' Group.
In this way, Bétera once again united the end of one festive cycle and the beginning of the next in the same day. With the new representatives already presented, the performance of Demarco Flamenco allowed the emotion of the farewell to be transformed into a final great celebration.

Bétera bids farewell to the August 2026 Festival
From the official start on August 12th to the farewell on the 22nd, Bétera has experienced eleven days dedicated to its traditions and signs of identity, with the Rodà de les Alfàbegues, gunpowder, music and popular acts as the main protagonists.
The Demarco Flamenco concert wrote the last page of this edition. Now, with the August 2026 Festivals over and the new representatives already known, Bétera begins the countdown to reunite with its most beloved festival in 2027.
