Important last-minute change for people who want to donate blood today in Bétera . The donation day scheduled for this Friday, September 11, changes location and will finally be held at the Youth and Equality Space.
The modification affects the previously announced call at Casa Nebot. Therefore, residents who plan to participate will have to go to the new location. The schedule has also been updated: the campaign will begin at 5:30 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m.
The event maintains its objective of promoting solidarity and facilitating citizens' contribution through blood and plasma donation in Bétera .
Blood donation moves to the Youth and Equality Space
The main change affects the venue. Although it was initially reported that the campaign would take place at Casa Nebot, the day will finally take place at the Espai Jove i d'Igualtat de Bétera .
Thus, the updated data that donors must take into account is: today, Friday, September 11, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the Youth and Equality Space.
The change of space makes it especially important to publicize the new location to avoid unnecessary travel and make it easier for all interested people to reach the donation point correctly.
What requirements must be met to donate blood?
The campaign also reminds us of some of the basic requirements that people who want to participate must meet. They must be between 18 and 65 years old and weigh more than 50 kilos.
Furthermore, it is important not to go fasting. People who have doubts about their suitability to donate can follow the instructions of the healthcare professionals in charge of the day.
The call constitutes a new opportunity for regular donors to continue collaborating, but also for those people who have never donated blood to come forward and learn about the process.
Bétera has another appointment with solidarity
Periodic donation campaigns allow this gesture of solidarity to be brought closer to citizens and facilitate participation without the need to travel outside the municipality.
Under the message "In the factory of life we count on you", the day encourages veterans to participate and contribute to maintaining blood and plasma donations.
Therefore, people who plan to attend this afternoon should especially remember the change in location and schedule: today's blood donation in Bétera will be at the Youth and Equality Space, between 5:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
A new opportunity to turn a voluntary gesture into help for others: donate blood, donate plasma and share life.
