The August 2026 Festival continues this August 14 with an intense program from 10:00 a.m. until well into the morning.
The August 2026 Festivities of Bétera continue this Friday, August 14, with one of the most complete days of the program. Tradition, local sports, gastronomy, music and popular culture will join hands throughout the day before arriving on August 15, the big day of the Bétera festivities.
From early in the morning until midnight, different points in the municipality will host events organized by the Workers and Mayors 2026, with proposals as representative of the festival as the Shooting and Dragging, the Great Popular Dinner, the Dansà or the traditional Nit d'Albaes.
Les Obreres 2026 open Friday's programming
The day will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the traditional parade and gathering of the 2026 Workers. An event that will once again bring the festive atmosphere to the streets of the municipality and will serve as the starting point of a particularly intense Friday.
In the afternoon, the activity will move to the Junqueral de Bétera . From 5:00 p.m., the Shooting and Dragging competition will be held in the Tiraset modality, an event linked to one of the traditional Valencian practices that retains its space within the August Festivals program.
Great Popular Dinner at the Alameda
At 9:00 p.m., the Albereda area will become one of the main meeting points of the day with the celebration of the Great Popular Dinner , organized by the Workers and Mayorals 2026.
To access the dinner, it will be necessary to have the tickets given to subscribers of the Obreres and Majorals cards. The event will allow numerous neighbors to gather around the table before the start of a night specially dedicated to music and veteran traditions.
L'Aljama will star in the Dansà at 11:00 p.m.
Once dinner is over, one of the most representative moments of local popular culture will arrive. At 11:00 p.m., the L'Aljama Cultural Association will be in charge of staging the traditional Dansà.
Valencian music and dances will thus once again form an essential part of festivals that maintain among their main objectives the conservation and transmission of Bétera 's cultural heritage.
Just half an hour later, at 11:30 p.m., a discomobile will begin in the Albereda area , this time by the Mayorals 2027. A proposal intended to prolong the festive atmosphere throughout the night.
The Magic Night of Albaes will close on August 14th
The most emotional moment will arrive at midnight with the Magical Night of Albaes , which will begin from the Parish of the Purísima Concepció.
Traditional singing will once again travel through Bétera on one of the most special nights of the August Festivals , keeping alive a cultural expression deeply linked to the Valencian identity and the festive history of the municipality.
It will be the closing of an intense day and, at the same time, the perfect prelude to August 15, the big day of Bétera , when the traditional basils will once again take to the streets of the municipality.
