Bétera will recover educational normality this Friday, September 18th after the suspension of classes caused by the weather situation. The City Council has agreed to resume teaching activity in all educational centers in the municipality, with the sole exception of the 'Xiquets' Municipal Kindergarten.
The decision was adopted after municipal services inspected the state of the educational facilities and in coordination with the managements of the different centers.
In this way, after the preventive measures adopted in response to the orange warning for rain and yellow for storms, Bétera students will be able to return to classrooms this Friday.
Classes return to Bétera schools
The City Council had agreed to suspend school activities during the previous day as a precautionary measure due to adverse weather conditions.
Once the facilities have been inspected, the council has announced that teaching activities will be able to resume normally in the municipality's educational centers.
The decision allows classes to resume after a day in which prevention also led to the adoption of other extraordinary measures in Bétera , including the closure of municipal facilities and the restriction of outdoor activities.
The Municipal Infant School 'Xiquets' will not resume activity
The exception will be the 'Xiquets' Municipal Kindergarten School , where teaching activities will not resume this Friday.
To facilitate family reconciliation in this situation, the City Council has set up an alternative for affected families. Those who need to take their sons or daughters to school for work-life balance reasons will be able to do so at the 'Josefa Guardiola' Municipal Children's School.
This measure seeks to respond to the needs of families while the 'Xiquets' Municipal Kindergarten remains out of its usual activity during the day.
The decision comes after reviewing the facilities
The resumption of classes has not been determined solely based on weather conditions. Before confirming the resumption, an inspection of the educational facilities in Bétera was carried out.
The council has also coordinated the decision with the school managements, with the aim of assessing the situation before the students return.
Thus, this Friday, September 18, practically the entire Véterana educational community will return to its usual activity after the preventive suspension.
Bétera is moving towards normality after the rains
The City Council also reminds us of the channels available in the event of any emergency situation. Citizens can contact 112 or the Bétera Local Police on 961 69 81 81.
Therefore, the main news for families is the resumption of classes this Friday in all educational centers in Bétera , except for the 'Xiquets' Municipal Kindergarten School.
In the latter case, families who need the service for work-life balance reasons will have the 'Josefa Guardiola' Municipal Nursery School as an alternative during the day.
