The Bétera City Council invests more than 10,000 euros to modernize emergency services communications
The Bétera City Council continues to advance in the modernization of its emergency services with the incorporation of 10 new TETRA transmitters for the Local Civil Protection Group. The initiative, which represents an investment of more than 10,000 euros, will significantly improve coordination, speed of response and security of communications during any emergency situation in the municipality.
This new equipment is part of the council's commitment to strengthening the Citizen Security area , providing intervention teams with the most advanced technology to offer a more efficient service to the residents of Bétera .
The new transmitters comply with the Terrestrial Trunked Radio (TETRA) standard, a professional communications system used by the main security and emergency services. In addition, their incorporation allows direct integration into the COMDES network of the Valencian Community, facilitating coordination with the rest of the organizations that intervene in the event of incidents or emergency situations.
More secure communications, better coordination and greater responsiveness
The incorporation of these transmitters represents an important technological advance for Bétera Civil Protection. Among the main improvements is the possibility of working in a coordinated manner with other security forces and emergency services, a fundamental aspect in complex actions where different administrations intervene.
In addition, the new system reinforces communications coverage , especially in emergency situations where conventional networks may be affected. The transmitters also incorporate encryption systems that guarantee the confidentiality of communications, increasing security during operations.
Another advantage is the incorporation of GPS technology, which allows the location of resources deployed on the ground to be known in real time. This functionality facilitates better management of personnel, optimizes response times and improves the coordination of security devices.
A determined commitment to the modernization of Citizen Security
The incorporation of these 10 stations is in addition to other actions recently promoted by the Bétera City Council to strengthen security and emergency services . In recent months, the council has invested in the modernization of the Local Police with new technological devices, the incorporation of a mobile radar to prevent speeding and the promotion of the Municipal Emergency Plan, as well as in new projects aimed at improving the response capacity to any incident.
With this new investment, Bétera continues to consolidate a strategy based on prevention, innovation and coordination between the different municipal services, with the aim of guaranteeing a faster and more effective response to any situation that may affect citizens.
From this portal we will continue to inform about all the actions that contribute to strengthening the security of the municipality. Because investing in technology, coordination and prevention is also investing in the well-being and tranquility of all the residents of Bétera .
