The Pont-Saint-Martin Musical Band will perform this Thursday, August 13th at the Bétera Sports Center
Music will once again become a bridge between Bétera and Pont-Saint-Martin this Thursday, August 13, 2026. The two municipalities are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their twinning this year, a quarter of a century of relations that they commemorate with a very special meeting framed in the August Festivals of Bétera .
The Pont-Saint-Martin Musical Band will be in charge of offering a concert this afternoon at the Bétera Sports Center to celebrate the bonds of friendship, culture and tradition that have united the municipality of Camp de Túria and the Italian town over the last 25 years.
A concert to celebrate 25 years of friendship
The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Bétera Sports Center and will feature the Italian musical group, which will perform under the direction of Walter Chenuil.
The concert is part of a particularly significant commemoration for both towns. Since the twinning was established, Bétera and Pont-Saint-Martin have maintained a relationship based on cultural exchanges and the will to keep alive a bond that has been consolidated over the years.
Precisely, music has been one of the ways to strengthen this relationship. The visit of the Italian band to Bétera will allow us to once again share an afternoon of coexistence and culture and, at the same time, remember the path traveled during this quarter of a century.
Pont-Saint-Martin, present at the August Festivals of Bétera
The celebration of the 25th anniversary also coincides with some particularly important days for the municipality. Bétera is immersed in the August 2026 Festivities , which officially began this Wednesday, August 12, and will last until the 22nd.
The presence of Pont-Saint-Martin is part of this celebration this year. In fact, the Musical Band of the twinned town already participated this Wednesday in the parade and collection of the Workers 2026, contributing its music to one of the first days of the great veterans' festivities.
Now, the band will have its own role with a concert specially designed to commemorate 25 years of twinning between Bétera and Pont-Saint-Martin.
Bétera celebrates twinning through music and culture
This Thursday's meeting represents a new opportunity to highlight relationships that go beyond institutional events. During these 25 years, twinning has allowed two municipalities from different countries to come closer together through culture, traditions and exchanges between their communities.
The commemoration now reaches one of its most prominent dates with music as the protagonist and with the August Festivals as the setting.
Therefore, this Thursday, August 13, at 7:00 p.m., the Bétera Sports Center will host a concert by the Pont-Saint-Martin Musical Band, directed by Walter Chenuil. An afternoon to enjoy music and, above all, to celebrate 25 years of friendship between Bétera and Pont-Saint-Martin.
