Bétera faces a day marked by intense heat this Tuesday , with partly cloudy or completely clear skies and especially high temperatures in the province of Valencia. The situation, however, will change significantly on Wednesday, when the arrival of greater instability could leave showers, storms and hail, accompanied by a notable drop in temperatures.
According to the forecast of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) , the maximum temperatures this Tuesday will reach significantly high values in the provinces of Valencia and Alicante. The situation in the Valencian pre-coastal will be especially noteworthy, where thermometers can reach or even exceed 40 degrees.
Due to its location, Bétera will have to face a particularly hot day, so it is advisable to pay attention to the evolution of temperatures during the central hours of the day.
Sunny Tuesday and very high temperatures in Bétera
The sky will remain partly cloudy or clear for much of the day. The main possibility of precipitation will be restricted to the interior of the north of Castellón, where during the afternoon there is a low probability of isolated showers accompanied by storms.
In the province of Valencia, on the other hand, the main protagonist will be the heat. The wind will initially blow lightly and with variable direction. From noon, on the Valencian coast it will tend to be easterly, while in the interior areas the westerly will predominate.
As a reference, the city of Valencia has recorded temperatures between 22.8 and 32.9 degrees over the last 24 hours. Castellón has ranged between 22.3 and 33.2 degrees and Alicante between 22.3 and 34.9.
Storms and possible hail arrive on Wednesday
The weather outlook will experience a considerable change on Wednesday. The day will still start with partly cloudy skies, but cloudiness will gradually increase from north to south.
During the second half of the day, the probability of showers accompanied by storms and hail will increase in much of the Valencian Community, with the exception of the north of Castellón.
Precipitation may become locally heavy or very heavy in the southern half of the Community, according to the forecast provided by Aemet.
In the case of Bétera and Camp de Túria, the situation requires us to be especially aware of the evolution of the forecast over the next few hours given the change in weather announced for Wednesday.
Sharp drop in temperatures after the heat
The instability will arrive accompanied by another important change: temperatures will drop locally noticeably in much of the territory, with the exception of the south of Alicante.
Bétera will thus go from a Tuesday dominated by heat and with the possibility of reaching very high values to a considerably more unstable and cool Wednesday.
A significant weather contrast in just over 24 hours that leaves two very different days in Bétera : intense heat this Tuesday and risk of storms on Wednesday.
